Learning to be away from family is the toughest transition for a young child. Going to preschool will be the first time they will be away from their parents for so long. While it is exciting for a few parents, it is also a nerve wrecking situation for many. To make this change easier, we have a specially designed settling zone where we organize interesting activities to keep the atmosphere upbeat for little children. We aim to create an environment that helps in building relationships between the children and teachers to ensure positive outcomes in all areas of learning and growth. It is crucial for them to feel safe, stimulated and happy just like they do at home. This zone also builds the trust of the parents in the preschool and how they be be partners with us for the perfect upbringing of their little one. At the age of two, children begin to develop independence and it is the best time to explore their developmental milestones. They begin to experiment and develop self-help skills. While each child will have his/her learning pace and a different way to comprehend their surroundings. With our Play Group, the little ones take their first step into the world of learning and growth. They are introduced to a more structured day with a stimulating environment that not only spreads positive energy by also makes learning a joyful experience. Our aim is to enrich every child’s senses and enhance their understanding about the surroundings around them. The teachers carefully implement a dynamic learning system which lays emphasis on active exploration, sensory learning and introduction of new themes.

The most important priority for MINE KIDS is to lay a sound foundation for life for the little ones which requires quality early childhood education. For us, education will never be limited to books, one can learn anywhere, anytime. Nursery is a level that takes the children a step ahead in their educational journey. Their little minds solve small challenges which in turn build their problem-solving and logical reasoning skills. Their curiosity is also addressed perfectly well as every term brings to them a new theme and concept to unfold.
Learning is a self-active, experiential, problem-solving process that demands an active confrontation with environments, self and with others. This hands on exploration, the joy of learning and the strength to overcome diverse challenges are all essential foundations of the life-long learning process. In grade L. KG, our aim is to make the students real thinkers who taste a bit of independence in their own way. They can decide what they want to draw, when they want to visit the washroom and what to make with their toys. This sort of independence teaches them how to make the right choices. They are also taught how to work well within a group through listening, sharing and cooperation. Our caring and experienced teachers are dedicated to provide a rich and nurturing environment that will prepare the students to follow a formal curriculum in the coming years.
With the advancement in time, the millennial generation is always expected to be equipped with the skill of readiness. Thus, their last leg of the learning process at Mine Kids, prepares them to take on the world waiting ahead. As the children grow up a little, they move past the basics and are introduced to a well planned, structured curriculum which will act as a perfect launchpad for grade 1. More emphasis is laid on making academics fun for the children so that, when they enter formal school all their classroom anxieties remain at bay. The life skills they gain during this age make them balanced and responsible model citizens with perfect moral values who are also analytical enough to successfully deal with spontaneous situations of life.
THE TEACHING LEARNING APPROACH AT MINE KIDS IS BASED ON THE OBJECTIVES OF THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAMME. ECE IS A CHILD ORIENTED PROGRAMME THAT FOLLOWS THE ACTIVITY, INTEGRATED OR PLAYWAY APPROACH AND AIMS AT PROVIDING A STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT FOR INTELLECTUAL, LANGUAGE, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHILD. IT PROVIDES SCHOOL-READINESS FOR THE CHILD AND PREPARES HIM WITH NECESSARY CONCEPTS AND SKILLS FOR LATER LEARNING OF READING, WRITING AND MATHEMATICS IN PRIMARY GRADES.
This approach follows the learning by doing methodology. The key principles of ‘Learning by Doing’ are Involvement, Participation and Contribution which certainly have a longer impact on the child’s brain when it comes to development. We provide the children real life experiences through special activities that include thinking, conversation, movement and creativity.
The playway method is essentially child-oriented and caters to individual needs, interests and abilities. Play is second nature to a child. It serves as a natural way for them to explore, express and involve with the world around them. Therefore, this approach supports the all-round development of a child. The experiences in this approach also make the child an active participant and not a passive recipient in the learning process.
Each child has inborn creativity. All we need to do is give them encouragement and opportunities for free play, particularly dramatic and constructive play which will foster creativity in them. We provide children with a stimulating environment where they can discover their talents like dancing, art and craft, music, clay moulding etc. Aesthetic Appreciation is a form of development wherein children are encouraged to appreciate their surroundings and also verbalise their appreciation about whatever they like around them. This way a positive energy can be channelised in them, which can help them in their future endeavours.
The IQ of a child just doesn't depend on the genes alone, but the opportunities he/she gets to use his mind. Children between the age of 2.5 to 5 years are at a stage of cognitive development when their thinking is governed by their perception and they learn through first hand experience of the environment. Themes help us to intertwine the different methodologies which make the learning experience interesting and meaningful for them. Rather than teaching each skill or topic in isolation we take up a special theme that acts as an umbrella of a larger topic under which all major aspects of academics are covered. It gives the teachers the flexibility to follow the interests of the students and mould their teaching styles accordingly.
